Slow goings

I’ve been working rather unsteadily on my IDIII submission.  There have been gaming distractions and a general lack of motivation.  I’ll make the statement now: this project will be done on Saturday.  Faire opens in less than two weeks, and I need to do a final fitting on my golden gown, which I know is going to need minor alterations.  I still haven’t fixed my smock, which is a bad thing.  Although I am proud of them, I am not wearing the silk narrow sleeves that match the forepart – it will be too hot, so I have to fix the smock in order to be comfortable.  During this time crunch, I also need to make a hat for the husband.

Oh!  As a bonus project (thank you, post-midnight hours boredom), I made a necklace for myself and slipped a pendant on a ribbon for the husband.  I’ll post pictures, but that probably won’t happen until after opening day.  My necklace is a [low on the neck] choker style that matches the golden gown.  The hubby’s decorative pendant is hung on a brown satin ribbon.

And, to jump topics one last time, I cut the pieces for the husband’s dice bag.  His will be purple with black numbers and a black loop handle.

Anyways, off to bed to dream of a productive week.  Thanks for reading!
