No different than usual

Real quick post for anyone who may be reading and needs a chuckle.

It’s 11:30PM, and I’m sewing the night before faire…again.  I’ve been slacking on the lower class doublet for the husband, after I gussied up my own lower class skirt with [*drum roll*] a strip (yes, just one) of trim.  I’m using a pattern I’ve had for a few weeks now as a “just in case”–Simplicity 4059.  It’s made of blue linen remnants as fashion fabric, unbleached cotton muslin for lining, metal eyelets (I know, I know, I try not to use them), and leather cord to tie up the front.  There is no trim on this for tomorrow, but it will allow the husband multiple options with his garb.

This weekend’s theme is Chivalry & Romance…and shopping.

Thanks for reading!
