My X-Wing Fairy started out as a regular fantasy fairy design with the intent to use Wonderflex and LEDs but quickly jumped to Techie-CyberFairy. During wing design, they morphed into the X-Wing. It was a crazy night.

The flight vest corset was made by the amazing Mayfaire Moon.

I used the Rebel Legion‘s costuming standards to design the peasant top and cargo skirt.

The wings were based on an X-Wing model, but I fudged some of the dimensions for comfort and general proportions. I’ll call it Chibi-X-Wing. The finished product is made of foam core board, craft foam, floral foam, Smoothfoam, wooden dowels, cardboard, and a lot of hot glue. I sealed with three coats of gesso, primed, used a tan base coat, and added painted details as necessary.

If you have any questions about specific items, please let me know. I’m happy to share.

Thanks again for stopping by!
