My alternative titles for this project are “Part of Your World” and “Guess Who’s Coming to Dinner”. When the 2019 announcement that the next iteration of Ariel would be played by a black woman, the “fans” lost their minds–in super racist ways. I immediately knew that I needed to finally play costume homage to my favorite princess, in typical Me fashion.
