So, I’m going to give this blog thing a shot.
I predict an occasionally updated collection of my costuming trials with random tangents that relate to my personal life. I’m not new to crafty things–coming from an uber-talented mom-of-all-trades, but I’ve finally decided to indulge my dress-up impulses with Ren Faire garb. My brain’s creative season starts in the spring and takes a plunge just after Halloween, when my hands have lost feeling. Any reasonable facsimile of “good” that comes out of the creative period can only be attributed to my enthusiasm for all things craft. My arms are open to constructive criticism from those who care to share their talents–your tips will not be wasted. Each experiment will likely be accompanied by photos, provided that I haven’t shredded or burned the product.
